'Manjula' Versatile Roundie
Vibrant shades of royal blue and cyan form a magnificent floral mandala print on this beach roundie. Made from 100% cotton, the roundie is fringed with small pom poms. Indian artisan Osho Maharaja designs the roundie, which can also be used as a throw or picnic blanket. The reverse side is solid white cotton. Mandala is a Sanskrit word that means "circle."
Meaning "circle" in Sanskrit, mandala is the term for a collection of verse hymns chanted in vedic ceremonies, perhaps coming from the sense of a round of songs. It is believed the universe originated from these hymns, whose sacred sounds contained the generic patterns for all life forms and things.
